This year, the class will be structured around American and British culture.

This will be an easy class in which all you have to do is listen and talk. You may only speak, however, in English. I do not want to hear ANY French. I will be happy to answer questions in French before and after class.

If you need to know how to say something during class, ask it in English.

Class rules:

1. Be ready to participate and learn everyday.

2. Respect yourself, your peers, your teacher, and any guest that may attend.

3. No gum or food is allowed in this class.

Keys to success in this class:

When you participate, you will sometimes make mistakes:

it is the only way to learn a language.

What you need to remember is that everyone in the class will make mistakes too.

Take risks.

Try to say something new in this class everyday.

Arrive on time, listen and participate.
